Today, 14th October 2021 the work of thatching the Kasubi Tombs (Muzibu Azaala Mpanga) has started and this work has been presided over by the Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga.
The special ritual of handing over the grass (Akayole) to Wabula Akayole the 04 grass (Obuyole Buna), who is traditionally responsible for overseeing the thatching of the tombs, were performed by Prince Daudi Ccwa on the behalf of the King of Buganda.
