Uganda mends further adjustments for Travelers through Entebbe

The travel requirements concerning PCR testing by all outgoing and incoming travelers at Entebbe International Airport have been adjusted by the Ministry of Health.

Since the local down, travel requirements were adjusted including the Covid-19 documentation particularly PCR tests and vaccination proof requirements.

New restrictions

All in-bout and outbound travelers will have to be required to show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination, except for travelers below the age of 5 age.

Requirements for a negative PCR test done within 72 hours of pre-boarding for all incoming travelers are suspended with immediate effect for those who are fully vaccinated.

The requirement for a negative PCR test done within 72 hours for all outbound travelers is suspended with immediate effect for travelers who are fully vaccinated, except where it is a requirement of the destination country or the carrier airline.

Travelers with partial or no vaccination will be required to present their negative PCR test done within 72hours of travel.

All travelers of 5 years will not need to present a negative PCR test upon their arrival or departure.
